Greenside helps golfers create matches, track scores, manage groups, and calculate settlements. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Account information such as email address, username, display name, and Sign in with Apple identifiers.
Profile information you choose to add, including avatar, handicap index, GHIN number, home club, and payment handles.
Match, score, group, friend, leaderboard, settlement, and activity information created while using the app.
Subscription status and purchase-related identifiers used to provide paid features.
Device push notification tokens when you enable notifications.
Support messages and other information you send to us.

How We Use Information

Provide, secure, and improve Greenside's app functionality.
Create and join matches, sync live score and settlement data, and show social features.
Manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and enforce feature access.
Send transactional push notifications about matches, friends, groups, and related app activity.
Respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that help operate Greenside, including hosting, storage, authentication, push notification, analytics-free operational infrastructure, and subscription management providers. Profile, match, group, leaderboard, and settlement details may be visible to other users involved in the same social or match activity.

Payments and Settlements

Greenside records payment handles and settlement statuses that users enter. Payments are handled outside Greenside by third-party payment apps or services. Do not add payment information you do not want visible to users who can view your profile or settlement details.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Profile. Deletion removes your Greenside account and associated personal data where possible. Some shared match records may remain for other players with your account removed from them. Active Apple subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be canceled separately in App Store account settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

Greenside is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
